Gloucester Ghost Walks

Book a Ghost Walk :

Three Different Routes.

Wednesday Nights at 8pm Or Thursday Nights  at 6.30pm, all routes start outside the Tourist Information Centre, Southgate Street Gloucester.

Deep Six: This part of Cafe Rene has many unexplained stories to tell .

Next we head into Southgate St and talk about The Old Bell [Tigers Eye Restrauant]

The Old Bell

and The Bell Hotel ( long since gone ) but not forgotten.

Then we move further up Southgate St, to talk about St. Michael’s Tower Ghost Story.

We then move into Westgate Street and head to St . John’s Lane & A.G. Meeks Shoe Shop and it’s ghostly going-ons.

Then we’ll move across from St. Johns Lane to the 10th Century, very narrow spooky alley called Pinchbelly
Alley in Medieval Times. Find out why !!

We’ll then Finish up in the 16th Century Crosskeys Inn, where strange things have been happening in room 4. This also where Lyn will show you pictures and photographs relevant to the stories she told you on Route.

Also this is where you will recieve your certificate of survival…that’s if you make it to the end….

ROUTE TWO

Robert Raikes House is our first stop, then smell the waft of fish and chips as we move to the Black & White Fish and Chip Restraunt and hear the story of the elderly lady that dissappears in the Ladies Toilet.

Then we’ll travel down the dark, cobbled Bull Lane, which was once home to Slaughter Houses and Butchers Shops.

We then embark to College Street, where we’ll talk about The Services Club and it’s ghost in the Skittle alley

Then we move to the Comfy Pew, Gloucester Cathedral, Bishop Hoopers Monument.

To finish the walk, we end up at The Dick Whittington Pub, where we hear of the spooky ghostly goings on….and it’s a chance to have a whisky for all those who’ll be nervous wrecks by the end.

Also this is where you will recieve your certificate of survival…that’s if you make it to the end….

ROUTE THREE;

We begin our journey at the Crosskeys Inn 16th Century Inn and hear of the ’spooky’ goings-on.

Then we emark to Black Friars, then to the Prison.

We shall then make our way up Bull Lane, once home to Slaughter Houses and Butcher Shops. We stop off at Remedy Bar & Lounge (Formerley Poets Wine Bar) and hear about the ghostly goings-on.

Then we’ll make our way into Westgate Street to tell you some of the history, aswell as the Poundstretchers ghost, the Fleece Inn, Bookends Book Shop.

We’ll then make our way to the Services Club, where the walk finishes. It’s also a chance to hear the story of the ghost in the Skittle Alley.
